They’re launching or relaunching 12 titles with only female characters. 11 are solo books, 1 is a team book. This is out of 45 books, which means 27% of Marvel comics are now devoted to girls.

They’re also billing the “All-New All-Different Avengers” as “The Avengers team with only one white dude on it”. Seriously, that’s on Marvel’s promotional image.

You’ve done it, Marvel. You’ve convinced me. Your comics aren’t for me.

Enjoy your new audience of shrill cunts who require endless pandering. It’s not like the feminist narrative changes every three months, right? I’m sure it’ll be easy to avoid offending them.

People are gonna look back on this era in comics and shake their heads at the short-sighted stupidity of the companies.

I think people are going to see this as the same liberal pandering they did in the 70’s with black super heroes. The interesting thing is girls’ reading comprehension is higher than boys’. So girls aren’t drawn to comics as much. They read young adult books. So the feminists conned the comics to making female characters most girls are not going to be interested in. It’s the same ridiculous logic that if lawn mowers were painted pink more girls would mow lawns.
